ABOUT US

Joe's bio

Before attending  Massage School  in 1997, I spent my post-university years working in a field that I found very unfulfilling. I was searching for something that would be important to me. I finally committed to massage and I now find myself 19 years later with more than 10,000 clients having passed through my hands. After 6 years of working in the spa industry, i decided to go out on my own which allows me to stay away from the middle man. Over the years keeping my practice small, trading finances for quality. I graduated from massage school with 750 hours of training, and I have been practicing  massage therapy since July 1997. I am trained in the following  modalities: Swedish, Relaxation, Therapeutic, Hot stones, Stretching, trigger point, Sports, and Deep Tissue. I have also taken workshops and continuing education courses in body electric, lomi lomi, and reflexology. I  tailor each massage to suit the individual needs of my clients. Whether a client needs relaxation for stress relief or a specific modality treatment for acute or chronic pain. I will design a specific massage in order to effectively treat each person. My strokes cover every major and minor muscle group on your body and everything in between.

I look forward to meeting you and having the opportunity to design a personal massage just for you!

Trent's bio

Much of my youth was spent trying to figure out my career path, but I couldn't identify my passion for anything specific until several years after acquiring my psychology bachelor's while doing computer-centered work which caused me more and more pain every day due to the constant slouched posture and tedious keyboard/mouse actions. I was spending more money on chiropractic than food until I went for my first massage and "WHAM!" it hit me like a ton of bricks that "THIS is what I'm meant to do!"  My massage education, from one of the oldest and most respected schools in the US, included nursing anatomy and physiology, neuromuscular, deep tissue, Swedish, shiatsu, clinical theory, and the mind-body connection. I continue to put in hundreds of hours of continuing education for license renewals and personal goals. My philosophy for massage is clinically based since I believe that the body must stay balanced and away from imbalance to avoid pain and injury. Additionally, I strongly feel that massage has tremendous benefits in terms of physical and mental health and that TOUCH is the most basic of human needs that are largely overseen.

When you are with me, I am totally focused on your experience, and I welcome you to communicate your needs both prior and during the massage.
